Mission Critical Team Leader Training (MCTL) 2025, hosted by Canada Wildfire, offers resilience and leadership training for mission-critical teams, first responders, and leaders tackling high-pressure situations - like wildfire.
Over the course of three days, you will learn from the Mission Critical Team Institute experts, about improved decision-making, leadership and overall mental well-being. You will be given practical strategies that you can use immediately in your day-to-day as well as on the fireline.
Apart from all of the knowledge and skills you'll acquire over the course is the ability to connect with others that share similar roles to you. Not only will you leave with a solid toolset, but also a greater network to call on and support during periods of peak intensity.

In the US, July 2 is National Wildland Firefighter Day (NWFFD), a day to honour the dedication and sacrifices of wildland firefighters. It includes all those on the frontlines—federal, state, local, Tribal, military, rural, contract crews, and support teams—who work tirelessly to protect lives, property, and natural and cultural resources.
