Let’s start there—and now for a quick recap of what happened from yesterday until today’s SitRep.

Today marks the first time this year that recorded fire starts have surpassed the numbers we have seen so far this season. Last year’s YTD was recorded as 2684 to this year’s 2600 fires recorded. Yes we could break that down a number of ways, just offering it up as an interesting fact. That’s all.

Other than that, just 51 new starts are on the board to keep things going.
